Unique High Speed Mixed Mail Processing

The Olympus Multi Tier (MT) offers high-speed letter mail processing and an innovative feeder that will process a variety of mixed letter mail - postcards, letters and C5. The friction-based feeder design allows mail to be processed at speeds of up to 36,000 pieces per hour and guarantees exceptional processing control. This design eliminates much of the noise often associated with vacuum feeders, making the Olympus MT one of the quietest machines in the industry.

MLOCR Flexibility

The Olympus MT utilises world-class OCRs and flexible software-based technology to ensure optimal read rates. Our advanced OCRx technology can take high read rates even higher. Easily upgradeable, Pitney Bowes’ MLOCR system offers a 178mm field of view.

Outbound / Inbound Mail Processing

The Olympus MT will automate letter mail up to 298.45 x 177.8 x 6.35mm thick depending upon the type of processing required and the size of the mailpiece. To meet your individual needs, the multi-tier system can be configured with as few as 16 to an unlimited number of sorting pockets.

Standard LCD monitors allow each sorting pocket to provide destination identity. Optional tray tag printers can be added to place standard or user customised information on each mail tray. The Olympus MT can process outgoing letter mail using postal address files or incoming letter mail using a customer provided database.
