Unique High Speed Mixed Mail Processing 

The Olympus Single Tier is the first system to offer high-speed letter capabilities and an innovative feeder that will process a full range of mixed mail - postcards, letters, self-mailers and flats. The friction-based feeder design allows mail to be processed at speeds of up to 36,000 pieces per hour and guarantees exceptional processing control. This design eliminates much of the noise often associated with vacuum feeders, making the Olympus Single Tier one of the quietest machines in the industry.

MLOCR Flexibility

Olympus Single Tier utilises world-class OCRs and flexible software-based technology to ensure optimal read rates. Our advanced OCR technology can take high read rates even higher. Easily upgradeable, Pitney Bowes' MLOCR system offers a 240mm field of view.

Incoming/Outgoing Mail Processing

Olympus Single Tier will automate mail up to 254 x 330 x 6.35mm thick depending upon the type of processing required and the size of the mailpiece. To meet your individual needs, Olympus Single Tier can be configured with as few as eight and as many as 160 sorting pockets. Optional LCD monitors allow the pockets to provide destination identity. And, optional tray tag printers can be added to place standard or user customised information on each mail tray. Utilising a customer supplied database, Olympus Single Tier will automate all of your mail handling needs. The Olympus Single Tier is capable of handling all of your incoming and outgoing needs.

Our UK support team comprises over 190 staff all strategically located to ensure rapid response to customer calls from any destination. Our teams of experienced, highly skilled engineers receive continuous training to keep them abreast of the latest equipment and process developments. Each engineer is fully qualified in installation, training and maintenance, utilising these skills to ensure that customers receive ongoing, optimum performance from Pitney Bowes' equipment.
